Ross MacLachlan joined Turner Investments in October 2013.

Prior to joining, Ross worked at a leading Canadian full service brokerage firm as an Associate for the Portfolio Advisory Group. During his time there, Ross produced timely capital market research reports aimed at educating Wealth Advisors and their clients. In addition, Ross also served retail clients in executing large equity block trades in an effort to obtain the best price.

Ross is currently responsible for managing the trading operations for all discretionary and non-discretionary clients at Turner Investments. Also, as an Associate Portfolio Manager, he assists our clients through portfolio reviews to ensure their portfolios are optimally structured and their financial goals are being met.

Ross holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and has completed many industry-related courses including the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, Portfolio Management Techniques, Advanced Investment Strategies, and Traders Training Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.

In his free time, Ross enjoys cycling and golf, while also participating in competitive soccer and beach volleyball. Ross is also involved in various charity fund-raising events including the Dragon Boat races and road bike racing. Ross also helped raise thousands of dollars for the Simcoe Muskoka Gilda’s Club and SOS Children Villages charities.
