An experienced Capital Markets professional, Sinan joined Turner Investments in September 2018.

Sinan has worked in the global capital markets for major financial corporations for over 15 years, where he has gained invaluable experience throughout all market cycles. As a trader of equities, Sinan has developed in-depth knowledge of navigating volatile market conditions. He has a strong understanding of the importance of balance, diversification and having a long term perspective.

Sinan began his career in the Capital Markets division of a major Canadian bank in Toronto. He spent over five years working as a Vice President of the bank’s Institutional Equity Sales & Trading desk in New York, during a time that included the credit crisis of 2008-2009, where he covered asset managers across the US, specializing in North American equity markets.

After returning to Toronto, Sinan joined the Institutional Equity Sales & Trading desk of Credit Suisse as a Vice President, working with clients across North America advising on global equity markets.

Sinan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Derivatives Market Specialist designations.

In his free time, Sinan enjoys cycling, playing tennis and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Laura, and young son, Easton. He’s involved in various charity fund-raising events including participating in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.
